A project grounded in restraint where clarity is achieved through minimal intervention.
The Innaloo Alterations focus on resolving the inefficiencies of the existing plan without overworking it. Through a considered, staged approach, the design strips back complexity and reintroduces order, light, and connection.
Our response is guided by three key moves:
Geometric Rationalisation
Non-orthogonal walls are replaced where practical, establishing a cleaner, more legible plan that maximises usable space and simplifies the architectural language.
Visual Connectivity
Selective removal of internal barriers opens the home, creating uninterrupted sightlines and a stronger relationship between kitchen and living zones.
Service Efficiency
Wet areas are strategically consolidated, improving flow while minimising disruption to existing plumbing delivering a more efficient and cost-conscious outcome.
By resolving the underlying friction of the original layout, the project achieves a balance of technical precision and spatial clarity. A quiet transformation that proves less can, genuinely, do more.
